mihela816 Posted March 25, 2006 Report Share Posted March 25, 2006 You need a spring compressor, and an impact with a 23mm socket. compress the spring until the bottom part is loose. Brian P Posted March 25, 2006 Report Share Posted March 25, 2006 the upper strut mount? You can replace those with the struts on the car, and the car on the ground. Just remove the plates, pry the strut shaft/mount up, grab the shaft with vise grips, and zip off the 24mm upper nut with an impact gun. Mount will come right out.
