On second look, did you scrape off all the old silcone?

 

Because that still looks yellow.

 

doesnt see any yellow?? cept for the reflection of the turn signal bulb

Around the edges, they still look yellow it could just be me.

 

But here is my buddies GTP w/OEM replacement lenses less than a year old.

i kno black works good n all but wat about red to go wit my car..i took the clear corners apart and painted them red to match the car.. im thinin about the head lights to match..wat u guys think

It's not silicone, it's just the plastic that's been tortured by 8 years of hot Georgia sun. It's slightly yellowed. I'm going to pick up some new lenses from Ed Morad some day.

I used Wal-Mart's ColorPlace Flat Black Spraypaint :laugh:

Wal-Mart or not, it looks great and it cost next to nothing! :cool:

this makes me want to experiment with mine or a set of j/y lights if i can find a set... i was gonna pick up a set of the black housing ones from egay but this could be had for a helluva lot cheaper.
