Has anyone moved their e-brake from the footpedal to a middle hadbrake? Or maybe heard of it? If so I would love some tips on this. I already know the current console will have to go and I will sacrafice my armrest and storage. But I can live with this in order to be able to have quick access to me e-brake.

I have been thinking about this some. I am beginning to think it might be a WHOLE LOT easier to modify a Fiero hand brake in. The handle would rest on top of the Hood release (for those who have it mounted on the floor), but I dont think I would have a problem with that. I think it might be cleaner since you get to keep your center console, and if you place it far enuf foward, your seat wont get in the way. Also, since the current E-brake cables exit out of the body right there anyways, it might be an easier mod..

FWIW: I think Davis aka Invasion1 is trying to do this also.

Down on the left side of my seat just wouldn't be convenient. I want it where I can reach it so I can use my e-brake to sling my rear around.

Our seats are a whole lot taller/higher than Fiero seats. I don't think that would be any more practical than having the foot pedal, for all intended purposes.
