ksmmspt Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Hello, I've got to replace my window regulator and I wanted to know if anyone has tips on how to remove the door panel. It's the driver rear on my '01 Regal. I have remove 2 bolts that were in the tray of the armrest. I don't see any more screws to remove and I am afraid to pry on the panel too much. Any advice? Thanks, Scott Quote
dakiln Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Go down to your local dealership and see if they'll pull up the diagram on your car and tell you how many screws and retainers there are in the panel. If the number of screws you have pulled out matches and you think it's still a little tight, start at a corner and use a trim panel remover (available at most auto parts stores) BTW - most times you need all new plastic retainer clips so don't forget to buy them. You can get em at the dealership or parts store but recently I have found it cheaper to buy them at the dealer than at the parts store. Quote
