Rabbi Posted March 22, 2006 Report Share Posted March 22, 2006 I Remember reading way back about a way to test the tempeture gauge in the W-Body, Id like to find out if my temp gauge is working or not. DiscoStudd Posted March 22, 2006 Report Share Posted March 22, 2006 I did this in my old Grand Am when I upgraded the cluster. The FSM listed different resistance values for various readings on the gauge. I have no earthly idea what they were (anymore) but I do remember jumpering a resistor across the 2 terminals (engine side at the sensor's wiring harness) to "simulate" the reading that it was supposed to read at that resistance...
