gp2001
Anyone have experiencing getting these things off the plugs? There's a heat shield around the boot, and I'm not sure if this just comes out when the boot is pulled off the plug, or if its held onto something. mfewtrail
Push down on heat sheat then twist and pull. They will come off with plug wire. That's how I do it. I suggest you pick up some cheap plug boot insulators to replace the stock metal ones as they can be a pain to remove sometimes. I use these insulators on my GTP, they're probably about the cheapest ones you'll find. http://www.cableorganizer.com/insultherm-spark/

gp2001
Thanks for the replies. Dumb question though - when you say to push down on the heat shield, do you mean down toward the engine, or straight down toward the ground?
