timing belt drive gear removal

How do I get this thing off? I got the bolt off, but the gear is still on tight(i need to swap them so that the 94 belt and cams work with this, slightly different gear style)

Im definitely not a DOHC expert, so dont take this too seriously, but it looks like a standard gear puller would do it.

Yeah, you need a gear puller, you'll have to tap those holes though.

 

The funny thing is Jay and I got one of no problem at the yard. :lol:

So then just pound the other one back on with a mallet or something?

Yeah, I guess that would work. I would maybe put some grease on there to help you guide it on there.

well, yeah, that's the plan. I got the 96 one off, im just having a bit of a problem with the 94 gear, doesnt want to come off. I'll have to try again in the morning
