 Wow, how about listing some symptoms, such as:

- ABS light on?

- SES light?

- Any ABS codes read by a dealership?

- Anything happen days before this happened? Rain? Go through a major puddle?

- Does it ever work? When was the last time it worked?

Don't just say something stupid and expect everyone to jump for you. You didn't even ask a question originally. Don't be a dick.

If your ABS doesn't work and it's the speed sensor,it should throw a code via the ABS light.

Are you sure it doesn't work? Unless something isn't causing the idiot lights to come on I would be suprised.

:werd: Exactly, and I don't see why it wouldn't work. Maybe you just don't stop hard.

Next time it rains, go really fast and slam on the brakes. That should get the ABS working if you dont kill yourself first

But since your '97 does have ABS, more than likely you simply havent stepped on the brake hard enough to get the ABS going
