kfahn
Is it just the transmission or is it just mine that when the tranny in my 95 GP SE shifts under hard accelleration, it hesitates at about 4000-5000 RPM. It'll just hold there for a second or so without goin any higher and then shift. Just wondering if there was some way to remedy this problem. Robby1870
I would try changing the fluid and filter. That sometimes will fix things you dont think it would Robby
NeverSayDie
I don't know why, but my '88 cutty does something similar. Only 1-2 upshift though. Under hard accel. my car hits second so hard that sometimes it'll break the tires loose. It hesitates too. I've changed the fluid on a regular basis...I've also figured out that if I let off the gas just as the car upshifts, it keeps it from feeling like the engine is trying to fly out through the front
Robby1870
what tranny? and year of the car? Some trannys came with adjustable modulators on them so you can adjust the firmness of shifts Robby
