I found a HUD, mounting bracket and switch in the j/y yesterday in good shape. I have the HUD and switch plugged into my 94 cutlass with no problem, works great. My next step is to run the adjustment cable thru the dash. I haven’t tried running the adjustment cable yet but is there a trick or technique that would make this easy or does it come down to just taking the hole dash apart?

While I have the dash apart I would also like to try dimming my ECC when I turn on my lights. There is an after market radio in there right now and I know that the dimming for the ECC runs thru the stock radio. I was just wondering if I can tap a wire like I did with the UB3 to make that dim. Any help would be appreciated.

to answer your first question, the factory routes that cable thru existing holes in the dash carrier (like the hole where the antenna wire runs thru), then once it's on "top" in the radio area, it follows the wire harness. Other than removing the upper dash pad, center ashtray, and maybe the radio, you shouldn't have to take apart anything else.

I am going to add to this HUD question, and not make another post since there seems to be entirely to many LOL...

So my HUD question is, My hud doesnt read right in front of me, its kinda off to the side (right side) and it makes it hard to read unless I lean to the left to read it. Is there a way to fix this?
