Psych0matt
I ordered a new tensioner, but is the actuator something i should look at too? the one i have should still be good, but i guess when everyone said replace the tensioner, i thought of the actuator. 5speedz34
IIRC- Replace the tensioner, and all the idler pulleys. Check out 60* they should have a write-up.
99vetteman
VERY important to replace the actuator as well. It is what actually puts the tension on the tensioner!!!!!!!!!!!! I just replaced mine last friday, inspected all the mechanics of it. You might as well not even replace the tensioner pulley if you dont replace the actuator.
