Psych0matt Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 I ordered a new tensioner, but is the actuator something i should look at too? the one i have should still be good, but i guess when everyone said replace the tensioner, i thought of the actuator. Quote
5speedz34 Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 IIRC- Replace the tensioner, and all the idler pulleys. Check out 60* they should have a write-up. Quote
99vetteman Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 VERY important to replace the actuator as well. It is what actually puts the tension on the tensioner!!!!!!!!!!!! I just replaced mine last friday, inspected all the mechanics of it. You might as well not even replace the tensioner pulley if you dont replace the actuator. Jason Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 14, 2006 Author Report Posted March 14, 2006 thanks Jason, thats what i was thinking, ill order that tomorrow if they dont have it in stock at the dealership. Pulleys, however, only have like 5k on them, so Im reusing them Quote
