A/C Connection Point

Recommended Posts

I was looking for the point in the A/C system where to check the R134 pressure, but couldn't find the connection point. Must be hidden from view!

Anyone know where it is?

What is the full charge pressure?

Thanks!

On the 1st Generation W-Bodies, the low-pressure port is located on or near the accumulator (the silver "canister") which can be found underneath the airbox. You will have to remove the top half of the airbox and the ducting that runs from the airbox to the throttle body. After that, unbolt and remove the lower half of the airbox to get to the accumulator and low-pressure service port...

Thanks. I just realized I forgot to say that I have a 2000 Lumina! haha!

That's exactly where it'll be on your Lumina, then  ...

Thats what I've got. Id like to know what the expected range is for normal low side psi on the 2000 Lumina.

Thanks!
