Going back to OEM Mufflers?

I'm getting tired of my Flowmaster 40s Delta-Flow mufflers. Too loud for me. I don't have the original mufflers. I was wondering if 97+ stock GP mufflers would fit. Are the less restrictive? Any suggestions?

Thanks

my suggestion would be get an exhaust cutout. that way you can keep your mufflers,

just run both mufflers inline then do a Y to split for the duel tails if you gottem. you can throw the cutout before the mufflers or inbetween them depending on the sound you want

i am running a cutout just after the cat and the first resonator. it sounds great and when i shut it, im back to factory

97+ stock mufflers should fit fine. You may need couplers/reducers to attach them depending on whether or not the pipe sizing differs from what you have on your car and what size is on the mufflers. They might be less restrictive than your OEM ones, but that doesn't really even matter, you're not going to notice a difference in power between your OEM ones, the flowmasters, or the late model OEM mufflers(the sound is about the only thing that's going to change).
