one_fast_prix Posted March 10, 2006 Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 well i finally got around to changing the accumulator today, and now instead of the pump running every pedal push and the yellow abs light blinking, the pump runs now every other pedal push and the light does not come on now. what the hell could it be now? any help is greatly appreciated. mfewtrail Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 Did you bleed the brake system properly as outlined in Chris A.'s write-up or in a service manual? If not, you need to do so. I went from a dead accumulator that cycled the motor with every press(that's when I parked the car) to a new accumulator that gives me a good 4 presses before the pump cycles. http://www.tpsgarage.com is Chris' site, just click on the PMIII section.
