MaD
Hmm, well, since I clicked that auction link, I'm curious about these things. What (if any) are the disadvantages of getting these things? I've noticed them on a couple of cars here, it seems to be a cheap little upgrade too. I'd love to heard the bad, good, and ugly about these things Thanks, -MaD-
patgizz
ive installed that bar on both my 94 euro and my sister's base lumina and noticed improved cornering and alot less creak and flex in the front end. took about 10 mins to install. JPaganel
Is this something that bolts on to the strut mount bolts? (like the aftermarket riceburner stuff) Do you have to drill/tap holes?
JPaganel
Has anybody heard of these guys? http://www.bmrfabrication.com/W-Body.htm There's no chance of any of their stuff fitting early w-bodies, is there?
GnatGoSplat
Nah, none of those will fit. The GM STB does require holes to be drilled, but you drill them just into the strut tower plates. Those plates are only $8/each to replace, so don't worry about drilling them.
