terryk2003 Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 i'm just wondering if its possible to get scratches out of powdercoating?...the shit scratches so easily...i was putting some decals on and i left some fine scratches with the squeegee i was using to get them to lay flat...i tried some 3m rubbing compound and had no luck...i also tried some meguirs gold class wax with no luck...can u wetsand and buff powdercoat?...there HAS to be a way to get the scratches out...any help would be great!...thanks Quote
J Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 from what i understand from talking to a powder coater, the answer is no. It is way to hard to sand it down and buff it out, paint is able to be buffed due to it being so soft. Good luck Quote
