Psych0matt Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Looking for a decent deal on some tires, since I'll be needing some soon, and im trying to find a good set of new, inexpensive tires. Ive been looking on ebay, and found these: first ones I saw another set Or these were some ive really been thinking about at tirerack: Fusion ZR1's Quote
jeremy Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 the first two tires brands are essential garbage tires that people throw on because they are cheap, but if they are only summer rims and you aren't driving a race car they should serve their purpose. I have never heard of the fusions Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Michelins are great, but prolly a wee bit too expensive for you. But how about these: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Dunlop&tireModel=Direzza+DZ101&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=435WR9DZ101&fromCompare1=yes&place=20 Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 8, 2006 Author Report Posted March 8, 2006 yeah, I looked at those, but heard the fusions were a little bit better, and theyre only a dollar more each Quote
rudefyet Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I bought these for my truck. A few people reccommended them to me, and sl3196 has them on his GTP and likes them I believe. Sell for pretty cheap too They're "High Performance All-Season" Tires http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?sw=false&cs=255&pc=28780&rd=16&ar=50 Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 8, 2006 Author Report Posted March 8, 2006 well, problem with those is that they dont make them in 19's (which is what I need now_ :? Quote
Ned Flanders Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Tire Rack also has some good deals...but the best can be had at one of those Wal-Mart Supercenters or Costco. Sometimes if Sears has a sale it's okay, but I've had the old bait and switch pulled on me there so I don't go there anymore. Wal-Mart has some good mid-priced Michelins with a 60,000 warranty. Unless you're looking for real high-end stuff, this is what I'd recommend. I've had them on my Regal for a few years now and they've held up well. Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I dont like the first 2 options, those are the broke, but I am trading it in tomorow tire... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/245-35-19-2453519-Falken-FK451_W0QQitemZ8030609166 I dont know, this is why I dont like the larger rims, finding tires costs more than the rims Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 8, 2006 Author Report Posted March 8, 2006 I like those a lot  anyone have any size reccommendadtions? those are about the closest to stock, so that was the main reason I picked that size, but I wouldnt care too much if it was ever so slightly off Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 they are a couple bucks more, but 40 bucks more after shipping compared to the Fuzions you were lookin at. Me personally, If I could find that tire in a Yokohama or Michlein (sp), thats what I would be buying. I love those manufactures. Yoko is what is on my TGP, and mich is what is on my AWD, my LE, and all 18 tires on my Volvo. Try calling sears and NTB (national Tire And battery). They have options to order things that most cant get. Althou no one can get the tires for my AWD... Quote
