fergup
Car has been running perfect until today. All of the sudden it started idleing rough today. IF I am driving around everything is fine but as soon as I stop at a light it starts fluctuating at idle and then starts rough off the light for a few seconds then is fine again while driving. I came home and replaced the feul filter but that was not it. Any suggestions Thanks

fergup
Yay but I have new iridium plugs and magnacore wires//only 6 mo old So i would guess this would not be an issue. How bout an O2 sensor.would this be a symptom of a bad sensor??
DaveFromColorado
my plug wire went bad after less then 3 hours... there's a reason they have a warranty, after all, some parts to do bad. a bad O2 sensor could cause that problem, as could a sticking injector, a weak fuel pressure regulator, or even too much slack in the timing belt. So many things could cause that issue it's hard to diagnose without being there to work on the car ... --Dave.
fergup
A bad wire would be bad all the time . Car runs perfect once under acceleration,, Only idles rough at a light. Perhaps an injector prob,, I did put in about a quart of lucas fuel system cleaner and lubricator and so far today it has not repeted so we'll see.
