I sold my old setup and the day after my remaining sub's surround exploded (however i fixed the surround with duct tape http://grandprix.mydreamcomputer.com/modspix.html ) At any rate I want to make a new box but I MUST HAVE TRUNK SPACE. any ideas/links/pics???? musthavemuzk Posted April 3, 2003 Report Share Posted April 3, 2003 i do not recall which gen it is for but at http://www.clubgp.com there is a section for mods and such that has a box built to go up against the back seat and against the wheel well. the section might not be called mods but something like that. the box fit like a glove. would have to adjust it mayb to fit your or to have the proper airspace for your sub of choice. as each sub needs dif internal volume to work properly. toastemcutlass Posted April 8, 2003 Report Share Posted April 8, 2003 if you dont care aobut the spare tire you can make a new cover for it out of thick ply wood and screw it down, then mount sub in center, then a speaker grate and then you can still use your trunk. my friend did it to his car and it looks great, but i dont like going without the spare tire, i go through tires like water.
