TGPilot
I am posting this in the TGP section because the majority of the people who I wish to continue to help are here. There are others in other sections and people who PM me on a regular basis and hopefully this will trickle over to them if I did not get a PM directly to them. I do not wish to exclude anyone...but to write that many PM's would take a VERY long time. At anytime people may visit me at tgpforums.com. I am considering opening a W-body section on my forum like Shawn was so nice to do for the TGP folks here at W-body if the demand is high enough. It will not come close to ending up like a few areas of W-body have gotten...but a true Car Forum discussion is welcome! Ok so for my reasoning. I apologize in advance if anyone feels singled out or offended by what I say...but this is how I feel. I have gotten to an age in my life and a point in my life that being around a bunch of teenagers and people in their 20's who still have the mentality of teenagers is not in my best interest. There is a completely different way of thinking and degree of consideration for others around them that blows me away. At no time have I said I was perfect! I am far from it! But there is entirely too much on this site that is out of my league and disturbs me. Instead of demanding some people go away or I go...I am being the better man and leaving myself in a hopes this is a "fad" here and it will be cleaned up in the future. Until that day comes I will no longer be visiting W-body. Take care all and I hope no-one takes offense to what I have said! 8)
Euro
damn dude, sorry to see you go! I understand where you're coming from. It has seemed that there has been a more young/immature posts or whatever on here. But I think for the majority that it's still really mature. Good luck in the future!! Have fun with those TGP(s)
GP1138
Sorry to hear that, Kenny, but I honestly think you're overreacting a little. It is your decision, and I'll respect that.
Brian P
I do respect your decision, most of us are adults here and can decide what's best for ourselves. The reason why I'm commenting is that, yes, I've been on this forum upwards of 7 years and can say without a doubt, that there has, is, and always will be some immature people around, be it because of age or just personality, and it isn't going to change. I have personal friends that won't visit this forum for such reasons, but again they're adults and can make their own decisions, and I'm not offended by that. The ways to go about this forum are to ignore the immaturity aka take everything you read very lightly, or stay away from it entirely. Bossman429
Sorry to see you go Kenny, you've contributed a lot to this site. I'll agree that the tgpforums is a lot more technical, and maybe more mature than this site, but I have little basis to judge. I really don't visit the tgpforums very much, really only when I need to search for a truly technical sort of problem. Hopefully someone will post here with a link to some pics, or info when Kenny gets his TGP done. I'd love to see how it has changed since I last rode in it. Farewell....I'll have to drop by the site sometime to see how things are going. Really the only reason I don't visit the tgpforums is because it doesn't move fast enough for my liking, at least from my impressions prior to Kenny's aquisition of the site. futuretgper
kenny, this is just a serious question. do you think the TGP section, on its own, over here is immature?? ive always come to this forum cuase it seems busier. ive always thought, and maby im biased ; ) , that the TGP section is the most respectful place to discuss our cars. sl3196
Sorry to hear that, Kenny, but I honestly think you're overreacting a little. It is your decision, and I'll respect that. We'll have to go to dave and busters again when I get down your way.
Pontiac6KSTEAWD
I happen to agree with TGPilot/Kenny, and I also dont think he is over-reacting. I have recently sent a very simalar msg to Gnat about my leaving. I came back when I saw some members were selling items that I needed. There are some members that need to grow up, and others that are older, that just plainly need an attitude adjustment. The sad part is, some of these members are not the "run of the mill" members, but higher up in the authority chain. I am trying to spend the majority of my time over at the TGP Forums as of late. But I just dont have the technical skills that alot of those guys do. So I can only ask questions, and give very little advice. So maybe I will see you over on the other side there TGPilot.. Intlcutlass
It's never a good thing to see someone go. (Even Aaron had 1 or 2 good points--- out of 1000). There are always good view points, and outside perspectives when dealing with a larger population... Of coarse it's that very same factor that elevates stress levels. Take care sir, good luck with all your projects. If you should ever want to post here again, I know I would look forward to reading what you have to say.... Intlcutlass
I said out of 1000 stupid sarcastic things he said, he had 1 or 2 good points... the rest of the time he was just a cock. I just wanted to make sure you didn't think I miss the prick or anything like that... but there were two posts he made where I found myself saying... oh- thats cool, or I didn't know that....Just to clairfy.... But TGPilot had helped me out on a number of occasions.
god910
Whatever, Kenny's a PussChop! We'll miss you Kenny. <---- That's because I'm here like 1 day every other month, So I'm really not too qualified to "miss" someone from the forum. BTW, his chip will make your TCC not lock up. It took the Dealership 3 months and 2,500 to fix it. BWahahahahahahaha

Jeff M
Sure don't miss this guy anyone that has "god" in his name has a little ego problem . That's is good news Kenny , that you will still pop over on the TGP side once in a while 8) . The W-Body side has a ocean cruiser size  (not a "boat load" , that don't compare ) of people and I only visit once in a while, I just cannot imagine trying to keep all of them in line , it would wear the treads off me/and my patiece in a hurry , maybe an age limit would help, but like I said, this "god" guy is not a young kid and he is still a royal pain Jeff M

Hahahahaha A joke is one thing...but the way I read it and how many newbies may read it that my chip causes ISSUES! Or worse yet spark up another member who swears OUR chips destroy TGP's! Jeff knows the member I am talking about... But then again I do not deal with auto-trannies as I HATE THEM! Only because I know minimal things to fix them! 8)
Jeff M
Yea no kidding, some might not understand the sicker-than-most sense of humor our less frequented members have . I am guessing Jay was admitting in a funnin/round about way that "he" goofed and forgot the chip he was running in his auto was your manual version :? 8) Jeff M
Jeff M
Stealing into this thread since we got no "General" topic in TGP and don't really need one, but wanted to share with my blown (or sucking) friends the following trivia: According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the highest number of leaves found on a clover has been eighteen. It has been estimated that there are approximately 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover. According to legend, each leaf of the clover represents something. The first leaf is for hope, the second leaf is for faith, the third leaf is for love, and the fourth leaf, naturally, is for luck. Happy St Pats Day ps, yes I have red hair and some irish in me, so maybe I will get lucky tonight just don't tell my wife Jeff M

Jeff M
Yea I think he needs to put on the Big Girl Panties and get back to driving a unique car again, I see Subbies all the time, they are everywhere like dead people I got your all wheel drive buddy 8) Peace Jeff M
Bossman429
spark up another member who swears OUR chips destroy TGP's! Jeff knows the member I am talking about... I thought said person got banned, or decided not to post anymore after Kenny took over the TGP forums? There was a big scuffle and everything. god910
Nah, my joke was just related to an old post about the 5 speed chip being the problem behind some dumb problem like the A/C wouldn't work or something totally unrelated. I can't remember who posted it, but since it was awhile ago I guess your old feable minds can't recall it huh? I think I know who you're talking about but wasn't here for the drama (I was out DRIVING my turbo car, not working on it. ) I'm just glad that Davis had the sense to actually look into his problem rather than just blaming the chip. But he's Canadian, so he went above and beyone my expectations. (I didn't know those Igloo's held so many tools!) Ah yes, but my Suby is more rare than a TGP. Only 1500 were produced in my color. And that was split amongst the Sedan's and Wagon's and only in North America. Japan nor Australia were given the option for the color. :flip: Besides, I still own 3 TGP's. I even got custom plates for the auto car that Read: BLKNTAN (A shiny nickle for the first person to know what it is.) HINT:
