lazytik Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 I searched BTW... I have decided to keep my car right now...IDK how long that will last. But, i saw a newer Grand Am this morning with the chrome rims. I had a thought...why not get these pontiac chrome rims for my old 94 GP? I ebay'd and it turns out they are expensive (um...my car is worth less that a set of those rims) some of those can be found here: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.bestautojobs.com/shop/images/wheels/zob93483f.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.bestautojobs.com/shop/alloybestpontiac/itemzob93483f14.html&h=100&w=103&sz=6&tbnid=rFe_6QJyRItWRM:&tbnh=75&tbnw=78&hl=en&start=24&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dchrome%2Bpontiac%2Brims%26start%3D20%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN idk tho...$1000+ for rims on a $800 car? i was thinking that maybe if I keep my car and restore/build it after i get another car, i may do this at the VEEERRYYY end (after performance and handling) what do you guys think? would these newer Pontiac rims look acceptable on a 94 four door? Psych0matt Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Those are f-body rims, different bolt pattern. But yes, the GP rims were almost identical looking. Quote
Bossman429 Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 The Grand Am GT wheels look kinda like that, but are slightly different, If I'm thinking of the same ones you're talking about: I'm 95% sure those will fit on a W body, at least the bolt pattern is the same, unsure about the offset. Quote
lazytik Posted March 4, 2006 Author Report Posted March 4, 2006 Me and my dreams... Yea I doubt I would spend that much on rims when there is so much to spend on just to keep the car road-worthy. Would you get these? Think they would live okay? Quote
jeremy Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 Would you get these? no way...if I was going to spend $1k on rims, they certainly wouldn't be stockers... Quote
