jeremy
Fuel lines...anyone know how to properly bend them?? I have to replace the hard fuel lines that go to and from the vapor canister because they are completely rusted through. The dealership told me that they don't have these lines pre-bent. Is there a proper way to bend these lines in a personaly garage without causing damage? If if wasn't something as important as having to do with the fuel system I would just go to a yard and pull a set in decent condition from there.... thanks in advance for you help

Your sure? They have got to sell them pre bent. Edit: You need to get that wheel off so we can look at the fuel filler neck and see what kind of shape that is in. I am not sure, I know that it goes to/from the pump/tank....I called three different dealers and they all told me the same thing each one has about 6" of hose on each end of hard metal line... Turbo231
They sell tubing bender that works well, just note that too much of a bend will restrict flow in the bend. No more then 5 bucks at any DIY car place, such as Advanced Auto Parts or even Sprall*Mart

CowboyBilly9Mile
A tube bender would be preferred. If you can't find a cheap one to buy then renting is an option. I've also bent tubing around pipe. You want a 2" radius.....bend the tube around a 4" diameter pipe.
jeremy
I was at the j/y today and I actually grabbed a very solid set of these from another '90 GP, I also looked at a couple of newer w-bodies and found that the lines on those are no longer a hard metal line, that they are plastic, so I pulled a set of those off too. I will put the plastic ones on but I also bought the metal ones in case for some strange ass reason the plastic ones won't work. Grand total spent $8.80 out the door.
