UWISHU1
Hello I have not taken the door apart 92 Olds Cutty ,still too cold out. The pass. side door the seat belt is hanging all out from the top of door and is NOT retracting. Sounds like the sprocket that does the retracting lost it's tension. Any clue or suggestion if I'll have to replace the entire belt system or just the sprocket that does the retracting?? Thanks
Monkton
Mine did the same thing. I took it apart and put the seatbelt system from my spare Cutlass. It happened because something got frozen during a snow storm and my car wasn't in a garage or anything. The door linkage also froze and broke when I tried to open it the day after that storm as well...

jeremy
SO more than likely I'll have to replace the entire seat belt most likely the case, unless for some strange reason you find that something is just "stuck" once you take off the door panel
