wyomingste Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 How would you identify if you have an aftermarket cam in your car. Would they give off a differnt type of idle (rougher), or would it just be noticable with the powerband of the motor (at WOT (neutral) my car screams once it hits 3000 but below there it seems like it revs slower then once it hits this point (700-3000 rpms takes about twice as long as 3000-6000) or is this just how all of our motors are? Also with an automatic transmission going around a corner under WOT (not sharp but getting there) my car tends to shift to 2nd at about 20 mph and then when the wheels are straight again it shifts back into first. Also on cold days it tends to do this while driving in a straight line. Is this just my cars way of telling me its going to die soon or is this normal? Thanks, Eric Quote
NeonKnight Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 your car is telling you that it does not appreciate taking corners lol... mine did that before too... Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 check the tranny fluid, its prolly the fluid (too low) going from side to side causing that. Quote
