chadz34
The 1996 DOHC doesn't rasp at all, while the 1992 DOHC is raspy? Do they have different mufflers altogether?

chadz34
I don't know which one I like better. I kinda like the 92' for it's loudness, but the 96' is better if you liek the quiet ride. The 96' has very little rasp, so Chevrolet did a good job on eliminating that. So, any members here that wanna quiet down there 3.4 simply get the 96' exhuast system.
ToroToro
Or just get a resonator. That's how GM did it. Although the newer mufflers are a bit quieter too. I prefer the rasp myself.
stockgp
will gen 1.5 exhaust fit on a gen 1?
sonyman87
will gen 1.5 exhaust fit on a gen 1? they look to be the same i found using flow40s and repalcing the resignator with a glasspack works wonders for rasp elimination and overall sound
slick
will gen 1.5 exhaust fit on a gen 1? Shouldn't be a problem if your talking after the cat. The only problem I do forsee is the downpipe may or may not clear the firewall.
