Well, while me and my dad changed the wires and intake gasket and fuel filter, we figured we had better check the timing belt. So we removed the cover and this is what we found.

So, it runs at least 75 percent better, has all it's balls back. But here's a question, when you are at 2,000 rpm in overdrive, it doesn't rev if you give it gas, it stays at 2 grand for a while but accelerates slowly, then the revs build up. Is this normal becuase the DOHC has no low end power, like if I pin it she downshifts and hauls ass. It doesn't buck anymore though. :D

There's isn't much power to push 4th gear at 2000rpm, especially with the TC locked up at lower speeds.

So that is normal then, just like when crusing in 4th in OD, it goes to 2 grand and sits there as I push the pedal down it just gets louder and the rpm doesn' move unless you put your foot into her.

Eh, I think that's normal. It's gotta downshift if you want to go faster.

Thanks man! I was just wondering, casue it was still in my head that it was gona buck, but instead it took a bit to get from 2 grand in 4th. But you punch her, she takes off real good. I smoked a taxi today just after I fixed it, I was already movinh, and I punched it and spun the tires and the cab driver almost shat. I don't think he realized I was on ice.
