92LuminaRS
I bought a broken gas door once... unfortuinately I had to take the whole car with it.
paulo57509
Most times when this happens, there's a little tab that holds the spring in place that breaks off. Typically, you need to replace the entire door assembly. I drilled a hole and installed a pop rivet and washer to act as the tab. Been working for years now. I wish I took some pics of the fix. White93z34
fore the love of god, its so easy to pull the fuel door, open it up, see the 2 small rivits holding it in place, drill those out. and it falls into your lap. then put new rivits in to put it back. unless the cutlass is different then my lumina, but i don't see why that would be.
