Guest donkeykongrape Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 I know the price won't be the same everywhere, but for people who have done this, what do you think on average it will run me to get them to bend up a pipe for my cutlass (dual exhaust at the end), and weld some flowmasters on there? Would it be cheaper for me to get the mufflers from let's say e-bay, and give it to them? Or would they get the mufflers from somewhere else for cheap? Also, what's the difference between the Super 40s, Standard 40s, and the 40 Series delta? Which would sound best on a 3.1? Lots of questions, I know, but I wanna know that I'm going to be paying for! ShockTherapy Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 look to spend around 125-200 to have it done right. as for what type, i'm not much help, search for exhaust clips... and as for an ebay muffler, unless you get them for free like i did, it's not worth cheaping out. Quote
psychopyro31106 Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 150 for standard/stock pipeing and muffler installed in NE Quote
Guest donkeykongrape Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 That's not bad at all, I was estimating at least 300...so around 150 seems like a wonderful price =) Quote
Crimson Fury Z Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 mine was like $225ish, thats was for a new cat w/2.5" press bent back to the magnaflow muffler(pt#12246). i dropped the y pipe setup for the single, due to lack of $$ and the "performace"(tuner) shop dicking around on(not)ordering the 2nd magnaflow. i might have a resonator put back on again, a little raspy when its cold. gp90se Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 I spent $300 on mandrel exhaust with dynomax mufflers and Y pipe installed, came out pretty good. Quote
