no spark, low fuel pressure

Ok...here's the kicker...I thought it was just a fuel pump on my GP, but it's a little more advanced

I'm getting barely any fuel pressure and no spark, it turns over continuiosly to no avail, and never threw any sort of code before

I thought it was just the fuel pump, but me and my neighbor tried to get it started with starting fluid for the past hour, it won't fire at all..

any ideas

No spark? hmm, bad crank position sensor, or bad ignition control module, or bad coil(s). No spark out of any of the 6 leads?

Low fuel? Clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, bad fuel pressure regulator.

Dont know what you have replaced, so i dont know what to suggest..

ok...coils and ICM are only a few months old

as for the fuel filter, i was going to replace that just to make sure

and as for spark, i'd have to check more closely, i only assumed no spark since it wouldn't fire off starting fluid

what size wreches will i need for the fuel filter? just so i know before i go out there

I would also suggest taking off your oil cap, looking in the cap at the rocker in there, and have someone turn it over. If it moves, at least your timing chain is still attached. If it doesnt move, well.....

took me a whole 5 minutes to change the fuel filter

boy did that make a difference....i have insane fuel pressure now, but for some reason it still won't start

Is the fuel pump running? When you put the car to the "on" position does it run and prime for a few seconds?

righto...took out a plug and set it on the frame so it would be grounded...cranked the engine and got nothing

so there's definitely no spark

ICM/Coilpacks are maybe 6 months old, tops. So i dunno what to do next

ROTFL I had to! sorry!!!!

You must roll the engine forward.

It is below the alternator on the 3.1. and be careful, the knock sensor is right by it,m and is is a very good idea to disconnect the plug from the knock sensor.

If you wait till I visit, I will bring a rachet strap.

well i got the bolt out for it, but the damn sensor will not come out of the block

They break really easily, there is a write-up in FAQ's. I say take off your ICM, and at least get it checked.
