sl3196 Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Well will it? Gotta wait a week or so to get a new tire in and don't want to drive on a donut the whole time so josh said I could steal a wheel of the ste. Both cars have 225/60 tires. Quote
Bossman429 Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 I know you need spacers to do it the other way around. Not sure about gen 1 on a gen 2. I would assume it should work. Just try it. The most that could happen is you freeze to death outside moving tires around. Quote
sl3196 Posted February 19, 2006 Author Report Posted February 19, 2006 Ok we will report back tonight then haha. Quote
Guest TurboSedan Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Dan your GTP is gonna look so awesome with one white STE wheel Quote
slick Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 I think I've read somewhere that the 1st gen wheels will fit the 2nd gen no problems, but definately not vise versa. Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 i see a 99 intrigue that has some cutlass sawblades on it everyday... Quote
99RegalGS Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Yes, 1st gen wheels will fit on your car. If you had the 12" brakes it might be a different story though. Quote

Guest TurboSedan Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 i'm gonna be at my parents for awhile tonight....might have to wait until tomarrow... Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 I've seen people on clubgp throwing crosslaces on for track runs because they're so much wider... only difference is the offset, and I don't think it'll cause a problem. just make sure they're not hitting the calipers. Quote
terryk2003 Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 <---can't wait to see pics of this Quote

Yes the width is nice and thats why some use them. I think more people would probably use them if they weren't so heavy. Since a lot of the guys on clubgp are worried about weight they won't run them. 8" wheels are nice though because it allows them to run wide slicks. Shawn Quote
