5speedz34
I think so, post on 60 they know all about this. I would just the 3400 swap/or top end.
RareGMFan
I would just the 3400 swap/or top end. An '00 on up 3100 flows about the same.
THe_DeTAiL3R
Isn't the only difference between 00+ 3x00s the actual cylinder bore? Only like a 15hp difference or so...

I think so. besides that, same heads and intakes. be aware that the '00+ EGR is not the same as your old one.. though you might just be able to swap valves to avoid needing an adaptor plate. I'm not sure if the wiring's different.
ToroToro
Dont forget that you will need to switch over to roller rocker heads. Unless you have the intentions of just bolting the "big" UIM to the stock lower, but that isn't going to do you any good...most likely make it run worse. I dont even know if a "big" upper would bolt to a stock lower...
TeeJay3800
The '00+ 3100 plenum, and the 3400 plenum are identical, right? (other than the lettering of course)

94CutlassXtreme
If you want a new 3100 or 3400 plenum, you need to swap the lower intake manifold as well. There are less mounting bolts on the newer plenums then on the old, 6 vs like 12 I believe.
slick
And, being you have a 94, if you want to switch to the newer style, I believe(talking to a lot of my beretta friends lately), you will have to notch the lower intake manifold. ToroToro
Or switch to roller rocker heads, which would be more benificial by far. 94-95 3100s got the smallest valves of them all.

Yep, definately beneficial! But, I don't know how much Adam wants to get into it. IMO, 00+ 3X00 heads and lower intake manifold plus 3500 intake manifold sounds like fun to me.
