slick
You might have grabbed a Double Din one instead of a Din and a half. I know there are a lot of fitment issues with a lot of the Cutlass's we get back into the install bay, even with aftermarket radio's. ihateallmustangs
SDecondly since my radio was from a grand prix my steering wheel control plug didnt fit. Is it possible to splice a old connector into a new one to make them work again?
Guest Anonymous
i doubt it, the interface modules changed over the years. Physically, you could do that, but the internal electronics probably wont cooperate with each other.
LukeZ34
The steering wheel data stream is completely different on the 2002 cars, so your cutlass ones will not work with it. The fitment issues are because the newer Pontiac GP CD Decks are deeper than the original cutlass ones, and the mounting brackets are on the sides which are not removable. Your cutlass requires mounts on the bottom of the radio.
