NeonKnight Posted February 17, 2006 Report Share Posted February 17, 2006 Well one of my subs had a cracked cone, and i disconnected that bad boy thinking i would just one day get it reconed. Now i blew my other sub... it is completely dead, im sure the voice coil is gone on it, i will not know until i take a look. but right now im driving around with 4x6s... and 6x9s ... although the 6x9s put out some super good bass, it rattles the trunk, and the rest of the car. it is really scary lol. im sure i might gain a few mpg back when i take out the 2 12"s and my test 15" sub. im going to disconnect my capacitor, and pull off the fuse for the battery for now. im sure i will not be getting subs for a good amount of time one day i will get another 2 12" Powerbass subs. RIP sexy subwoofers... you have made my life great, and the parties even greater Not to mention the countless cops who we bumped bass into haha.
