How many different RPE's were there? Quote
Grand Moff Joseph Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 I'm no expert on RPE models, but I'm gonna have to raise the BS flag on that one /paging Dr. Ross Quote
Bossman429 Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 I'm no expert either, but from what I have heard from Ross in another RPE thread is that Petty's shop actually made their own RPE editions in 1991 by applying the sticker packages to GP SE's. Then in 1992 GM did the sticker duty from the factory. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 That thing is just a 1991 Grand Prix SE that the owner went crazy on with decals... Its not an offical GM RPE (92 models) and its not an offical Petty Enterprises ('91 models) RPE... totally fake. Quote
ry92grandprixse Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Holy overpriced SE with stickers! Quote
TeeJay3800 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 It's a loaded "RPE" with only a 3-speed! haha Quote
White93z34 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 RICHARD PETTY EDITIONCertified who the hell decicdes that sorta thing anyhow??? Quote
Bossman429 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 VIN T is the 3.1L though. Yep, Das Quad would have been a "D" as the eighth. Quote
