Got it in today (referring to getting it in the mail), cleaned it up ... sorta and put it back together. Maybe a project for the spring is in order!? ... Let me know what you guys think, or any advice on the matter.

Yeah, I said that because right now all I have is the engine and turbo (lol). I need to get a couple more parts in order first and some other things, but it's a turbo off of a early model GN. (Time for some junkyard runs ... intercooler, here I come). The turbo can provide a lot more than I'm looking for in terms of how much the Series I 3800 can handle.

 

Do it! Bring back the 3.8L Turbo Buicks! '92 Regal Grand National!

 

That's what I actually wanted to do. It wouldn't be nearly as powerful w/o the Series II 3800, which I wanted in the first place. But it'll be something that no one else has attempted ... it will be unique. 1 of 1 on the road.

That depends on how you're comparing it to a Series II...

It's a turbo off of an earlier model GN '84-'85.

 

you should turbocharge it, 3800's have got some balls.
