how to hook up a tachometer to digi dash

i was wonderin how to hook up a tach to a digi dash cause i wanna kno if my car is runnin and shiftin right i have an automatic but also want an agressive look lol

You would actually hook it up to the DIS module (the plate your 3 coils mount to), not the dash. On one of the DIS module plugs there is a white wire. This wire is ran to the plug on the firewall, where it stops. You see, the digital dashes get their tach signal from the orange ALDL wire coming from the ECM. This white wire is just like a tach signal wire coming off of a coil on a distributor type car. So you will have to tap in to this white wire and run it to the signal input for your aftermarket tach.
