spectre5 Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 Hey guys, I have a '93 Z34 and the speakers are shot. Previous owner put in a JVC Kameleon. My plan is to add dash speakers replace door, and rear. My question, where should i start? should i replace the rear 6x9's and see if the sound quality improves? AND How easy/hard is it to add in dash speaker in the Bose Z34's? thanks guys Quote
NeonKnight Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 replace the 6.5s first, most likely those are blown. then replace the 6x9s. the 6x9s will give a good amount of the sound in the car. i think adding the dash speakers is simple, i think all you need is the small bracket.. but im not 100% on that, plus you need to run wires etc etc. if your getting into doing all of that i would recommend a 4 channel amp and amp up your 6x9s, and 6.5s then try to amp up the 4x6 in the front. dont forget to add a nice 12" sub Quote
jeremy Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 If I had a bose system, I would yank the ENTIRE thing and start over from scratch. Quote
