THe_DeTAiL3R
yeah we are fucked unless we want to spend $$$$$ for the scan tool ourselves.
fastbird232
This blows. The nearest Autozone is 300 miles away, and the parts to build a code reader are still not worth the cost.
Prospeeder
our autoshop has a OBD 1, 1.5, and 2 scanner for all kinds of models of car, lol even an ABS scanner for my PMIII! 95oldsVan
My local autozone will not scan OBD2 set ups anymore.I guess the story goes they got the heat from the EPA or someone in the west coast because many times people with OBD 1.5 or 2 would have their codes cleared before inspection time,by having someone from the store read and then clear the codes. In many places with inspections, and we dont even have inspections in my area anyways, stored DTC will result in failure of the test and you have to get it fixed first. Im not on the west coast but its where I heard the BS came from.My local advance auto will scan it with no problems. However I tell them not to clear the codes anyways if its stored.Az still will not do it.Scared beetches. We dont have inspections in this area as I mentioned. Be sure to call them ahead of time and ask them before driving somewhere and finding out they wont do it anymore. :?

Just incase you drive out there thinking they would. But if you do find one around us, let me know!
