EviLette
I was wanting to do that, C-BAD. The only time I would go through and replace everything is if it was absolutely necessary, as badass as it would be to tell someone it was a completely "flowmaster" exhaust or whatever.... but factory sleeper design with the punch coming from a totally unsuspecting car is the best... so yeah keep it looking factory... paint is another matter.... but it doesn't really matter. I do like the exhaust, and fuck 'em if they can see that... it's a sexiness factor to me. When I first test drove the car, I about busted a nut.... (figure of speech, of course) when I started it. My mom kinda laughed because when I pulled it off the lot, the first thing Id id was punch it... she goes "You couldn't wait to do that..." umm... NOPE. I DO like the sound it's got now... i would just like it to be a bit louder... 2.5 pipes would allow it to breathe better, but I thought I already saw someone saying that the exhaust setup is overkill for the engine.... would it be the same for the 3.4 engine, or would I have to go to 2.5 for it? If so, maybe I should just change everything over now and save m'self the trouble later. --confuzzled in KS. lol
TeeJay3800
Well, everyone was just saying that 2.5 would be the best way to go. Factory is 2.25.... 2.5" is the best way to go if you plan on replacing the whole exhaust, but yes 2.25" is factory.
