Alessio F1's They're actually the ones that were posted in the auction watch a time or two, that everyone thought looked crappy. They weren't great pics, and although a bit rashed on the edges, well worth the 375$ shipped these all the little things musta been water or dust or something Quote

GnatGoSplat Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Kick ass! Not a bad deal either. Do you need to get the center bore drilled out? Quote
Psych0matt Posted February 10, 2006 Author Report Posted February 10, 2006 I'm not sure yet actually. But I did email the company and ask. If i don't hear back I'll take one to a tire shop or something next week Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Probably be easy enough just to use a ruler! Mine are 69.00mm and I need 70.30mm. I still need to take one to a local machine shop to get an estimate on how much it'll cost to machine. If you beat me to get the wheels on, you'll have the first first-gen W-body on the forum with 19's! Quote
Psych0matt Posted February 10, 2006 Author Report Posted February 10, 2006 Probably be easy enough just to use a ruler! all I have is a tape measure with inches Quote
per0781 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 what size tire are you going to use? Quote
Psych0matt Posted February 13, 2006 Author Report Posted February 13, 2006 245/35-19 is what I was thinking (badassoldspower was helpin me out a bit on looking) something like this Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 Yeah, 245/35R19 is what came on mine, and they look pretty close. I was actually thinking a staggered setup of 245/35's up front and 255/35's in the rear would look pretty good. There's just something about these cars that makes the front tires look bigger than the rear tires even if they're the same size. Quote
J Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 I know how $$$ those tires are so i'd also look at treadwear, just to be safe. Not sayin your wrong shawn, but i'd just get a thinner tire so you can rotate them, with the staggered you can't. JMO hope to see pics in a few months! later guys Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 19" tires aren't really much more than 18" on Ebay, although if rotating them is a concern, you're definitely better off not going staggered, and also better off not using a directional tire. Personally, I hate rotating tires. I'd get staggered and directional tires just to have an excuse not to do it. Quote
jeremy Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 I want 19" rims....but I want white ones!!! Quote
Prospeeder Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 I saw a set of 19 inch white 5 spokes somewhere online...shop around Quote
Psych0matt Posted February 16, 2006 Author Report Posted February 16, 2006 so it looks like they have to be bored out a bit, they're definitely 69.00 mm. If i get around to it tomorrow I'll call some of the machine shops tomorrow and see what they can do Quote
chadz34 Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Those don't look too bad at all. Quote
