They're not perfect, and that's actually the worst one, but they'll do me well. I'll get some pics on the car once I get tires and put them on (you'll probably all forget by then  ) anyways, I'm excited :nana:

Alessio F1's They're actually the ones that were posted in the auction watch a time or two, that everyone thought looked crappy. They weren't great pics, and although a bit rashed on the edges, well worth the 375$ shipped

Kick ass!

Not a bad deal either. Do you need to get the center bore drilled out?

Posted

I'm not sure yet actually. But I did email the company and ask. If i don't hear back I'll take one to a tire shop or something next week

Probably be easy enough just to use a ruler! Mine are 69.00mm and I need 70.30mm. I still need to take one to a local machine shop to get an estimate on how much it'll cost to machine.

If you beat me to get the wheels on, you'll have the first first-gen W-body on the forum with 19's!

all I have is a tape measure with inches

Yeah, 245/35R19 is what came on mine, and they look pretty close. I was actually thinking a staggered setup of 245/35's up front and 255/35's in the rear would look pretty good. There's just something about these cars that makes the front tires look bigger than the rear tires even if they're the same size.

I know how $$$ those tires are so i'd also look at treadwear, just to be safe. Not sayin your wrong shawn, but i'd just get a thinner tire so you can rotate them, with the staggered you can't. JMO hope to see pics in a few months! later guys

19" tires aren't really much more than 18" on Ebay, although if rotating them is a concern, you're definitely better off not going staggered, and also better off not using a directional tire. Personally, I hate rotating tires. I'd get staggered and directional tires just to have an excuse not to do it.

so it looks like they have to be bored out a bit, they're definitely 69.00 mm. If i get around to it tomorrow I'll call some of the machine shops tomorrow and see what they can do
