NeonKnight
Car info: 1991 Lumina Euro 3.1 Full new struts Monroe Sensatracs (monroe mounts) Okay so about a month or so back i installed some new Shocks and struts (including mounts) all around the car. i used to have a clunking sound, and it was the rear left, that strut was also leaking so i replaced all of em. now i still have a similar sound from the back, kind of like a click, or a clunk. when i was under my car i noticed a lot of my bushings looked kinda ugly on the trailing arm and what not. the big bushings were perfect. smaller ones eh looked like old ppl... what could be causing this sound? i hate hearing it, and untill i can get a new subwoofer and amp... *popped both* i have to listen to it somewhat... without the bass in the car i hear it, although i have a lot of highs and mids haha
DiscoStudd
Check the pads on the ends of the monoleaf. If they're worn, it'll cause a loud clicking sound. Buy a set of MOOG "Hockey Pucks" (K644 is the part # IIRC) to take the place of the stock rubber pads. The MOOG pads drop underneath where the leaf sits instead of slipping around the leaf like the stock pads do.
