chevelle3504speed
Hey Guys, I'm working on a '95 Z34 Monte Carlo. I cannot get any pump I have put on there to stop moaning, and I have put remanufactured pumps from Advance Auto Parts on, and one from Napa. I have replaced both pressure and return lines because they were leaking. The pump makes a lot of noise especially after the car sits for several hours. When I start it up after it's been sitting, the power steering pump is howling and the reservoir is overflowing because it is pumping so much air into the reservoir. The car doesn't leak any power steering fuid. I've checked and there are no kinks in the hoses. You guys got any ideas? Thanks a lot, Andy
Prospeeder
I belive you can bleed the system if thats what you thinks the problem, just take off the cap, run the car, and turn the wheels from full lock to full lock over and over, best if you do it on a lift so the front tires dont grind on the pavement
chevelle3504speed
I've already done that.
1990lumina
Do it again, sounds like you didn't get all the air out - if you're sure all the air is bled, something is leaking still I'd suspect.

chevelle3504speed
I bled the system again, as you guys suggested, and it is still doing the same thing. Got any other ideas?
