jdcutty
Sounds like it is burnin some oil. My fiero did that when I would step on the gas. I checked the oil, full, and the next day it was gone with no external leaks. The case of the magical disappearing oil.
DiscoStudd
The valveguide seals are shot. It's not that big of a deal when they wear out, as you're only burning a tiny bit of oil when the engine is under vacuum (like when you're accelerating.) In order to replace the seals, you'll need to fill the combustion chamber (chambers actually - one at a time) with compressed air to hold the valves in place once you take the valvesprings loose (there's a special "tool" that threads into the spark plug hole and connects up to an air hose.) 3pt1lumina
Was it blue smoke or white smoke? If it was blue then it was burning oil... If it was white it could be a headgasket (didn't you do the headgasket?) EDIT: I see "white" smoke... so I dunno... free bump.
19Cutlass94
if its white smoke it can also mean your engine is running lean, like a light white smoke, not heavy smoking like a headgasket. I know thats my problem.
DiscoStudd
White smoke could also come from a leaky check valve on the master cylinder's vacuum booster (well that and a leaky piston seal on the MC itself.) You could be sucking brake fluid into the intake...
