GOT2B GM
Here's how I spent my evening in the garage. My inner passenger side CV boot was ripped, so I just replaced the whole shaft. Its less labor than rebooting the old one. I also put a new greasable TRW balljoint in while I had it apart. A couple pics...
5speedz34
Did it spray grease all over the engine bay? Aaron refused to believe me when I was in CO, and we had to replace it when I was at Ben's place. Grease got EVERYWHERE.
GOT2B GM
I wouldn't say that it sprayed it all over the engine bay. There's that CV boot heatsheild that covers most of the inner boot, and there was some grease on the inside of that. If it was my outer boot that was ripped, I could see there being some more grease spatter.
