Dirty Rockstar Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 absolutely no damage to this guys truck. one guy saw me do it, i looked at him and said..."not good?" to which he replied.."no, not good". he got in his car and bounced.. I stayed there for a minute, then decided to get teh fuck out of there. had it been a W i probably would have stayed, but since it was an SUV, i said fuck it. that's a fucking dick move.... Finally.. Jeremy and I agree on something.. I hope he's not a member on this forum Quote
jeremy Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Finally.. Jeremy and I agree on something.. I think we agree that these pants could quite possibly be the coolest pants ever Quote
chadz34 Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Yeah, a trailer hitch wouldn't have put that much damage all over your car. It's in more than one area. Quote
cutlass1991 Posted February 4, 2006 Author Report Posted February 4, 2006 also, i told my old girlfriend i still love her, to which she replied... i love you in a different way.. god im having a bad night. Quote

sl3196 Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 WTF werent you drinking BEER like normal guys? No shit! Margarita's are for girls!! (unless its the only thing left in the house haha) Hit and run people piss me the fuck off. You hit someone else's car you need to fucking tell them. Even if there isn't damage. Quote
JakeMetz63 Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Margaritas are good, im proud to say that my bar served the best margaritas in Toledo. Drunk people buying our margaritas helped me pay for my first W! But at least leave a note on their truck. "I hit your car, if you feel theres damage, call me at ##########. Sorry  " Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I definately would have handled the situation differently... Quote
cutlass1991 Posted February 4, 2006 Author Report Posted February 4, 2006 I'm glad everyone here is an eagle scout. I feel like I told my parents. Reading about something like this, it's a lot easier to make a good decision than in the heat of the moment when you're scarred because you just fucked up your first car, the one that you take care of and everyone laughs at you because it's a 15 year old sedan. This morning I put a note on his car. He called me, turns out I know him from class. We met up, I apologized and asked what he wanted me to do. He didn't really care about the small dent in the bumper and the paint rubbed off. He said give him like a hundred bucks, so I cut him a check for $125 and we called it even. I'm at home now, the pics of the truck are on my school comp so I'll get them later on. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 To be honest, I might have done the same thing. Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 No not an Eagle Scout...maybe a person who was thinking logically. I can't say that I'd like to have a hit an run on my record. It's only a criminal offense. I would never leave the scene of an accident without having the other person's name and phone number AT LEAST! Don't expect to post your stupidity and not get flamed. If you don't like what we said, that's too bad you asked for it. Honestly, it's not my fault you're a two beer queer who gets drunk off of one margarita. Quote
jdcutty Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 This fine ass girl and her two friends hit my car in the parking lot where I worked in what looked like her grandparents car (Beige 2002+ Lesabre) and she at least came in a told me. It only left a scratch and she appologized about a million times. I dont know where my mind was, coulda got a BJ for me and my friend out of that deal. WTF was I thinking? You shoulda at least left a note on the truck for them to contact you. At least you have it taken care of now though. You did the right thing in the end, that counts for something. Quote

JakeMetz63 Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 I rear ended this chick last summer, there was no damage from where I slid into her, but she hit a truck's trailor hitch and fucked up her bumper pretty badly. I gave her my phone #, license, and insurance and told her to call me and we will settle it outside of court; thats how we left it. An hour later a cop calls me and tells me to return to the accident scene. I go back and he tries to give me a ticket for "leaving the scene of an accident" . Fuck that, I gave her everything she needed to know and her boyfriend decided to call the cops on me. It was rediculous. It turns out that since it was in MI it wasnt my responsibily to pay for where she hit the trailor hitch, so I guess the cop saved me in the long run, I would have just paid for her repair bill if I hadnt know. I tell the cop everything that happened and he decided not to ticket me. Quote
jeremy Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 You did the right thing in the end, that counts for something. vegas odds are 10:1 that he never went back despite the story he posted Quote
