KrazyCutlass1995
i have the 3100 on my 95 cutty and was wondering if the 3400 headers from rsm racing would bolt up to the 3100 ... and what year of the 3400 intakes do i need to keep my egr without going through alot of trouble? Thanks Alot! And where can i get a set of 3400 intakes , cant find em at any salvage yards around here ..
19Cutlass94
First off RSM doesnt make headers, if they do, send me the link cuz I couldnt find any. If you want headers, either have a shop custom make them, because the only headers I know about are for the 3.4 DOHC. as for 3400 intakes, set of '01 will be fine. manitcor
S&S makes the headers you are looking for. You will need to swap the entire top end including heads if you want 3400 intakes.

Brian P
yes they fit Grand Am's but the rear header doesn't even come close to fitting the W-chassis
manitcor
the S&S do fit W-Bodies I have them on my car
Brian P
without modifying them? My friend has a set for his old cutlass and the rear collector had to be chopped, shortened, and angled down to fit. If you got them in I'd be very interested in the exact part # and any pics of the install.
manitcor
fit without modification with the exception of cutting the end flange off and welding the exhaust directly to the header. granted the headers do sit on the firewall but they dont make any nosie or tap the firewall except in reverse then it will tap a little but its had no adverse for over 2 years now. http://www.mymonte.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=138&pos=
Brian P
that's awesome, seriously. Now that I think of it, the sheetmetal in that area changed in shape in around '93-94, so maybe that was just enough room to make these fit. The cutlass my friend has is an '88. If you want to run your EGR, get an adapter from the 60*V6 Store and get a set of VAN intakes. I have an '01 Alero intake on my car, and it's incompatible with my EGR. You will need to swap over some of your sensors and all of your accessories. Your harness and computer will run it stock, though its better to get the larger 22.5lb injectors with the 3400 injector harness clips spliced in and DHP tune your computer to take full advatnage of the engine. http://www.3400swap.com

manitcor
you may have to swap some of them depending on the year. You will defentialy need to swap all your mounts and accessories. I reccomend an 00-02 3400 See http://www.3400swap.com for a detailed guide.
