Speedwagon Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 Ok, gmpartsdirect.com says I have a PCV valve. Autozone says I have one. But I looked at the valve cover, and all I have is a hose and a rubber grommet where I believe to be it's supposed location. Does this engine not have one? Or am I just retarded? Quote
Robby1870 Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 that hose and grommet are the PCV all it does recirculate gasses from the motor back into the intake. For emitions. The hose should lead from the valve cover to the intake tube Robby Quote
Speedwagon Posted March 25, 2003 Author Report Posted March 25, 2003 It does. But their sources say I need an actual metal PCV valve. I'd guess not, so I returned it after I bought it and looked. Quote
Robby1870 Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 no I got a rubber one and it works fine, no problems Robby Quote
