19Cutlass94
sweet! These engines will run forever, with proper care of course..... plan on keeping it for a long time, unless the body rots out first.
1990lumina
I wish mine will go that long, but my engine, for most of it's life was never proper or frequently maintained.....the lifters a ticking like a bitch, might have some other problems that I can't hear as well.....Ill be lucky to get 200,000kilometers from this engine.....like how long will the 3.1MPFI go with tiicking lifters?? I dunno, maybe a few of collapsed as well
LumiDriver
That's how I look at it. As long as you take good care of it, it will run for a long time. I took good care of my van and it ran like it was new Same with the lumina

Crazy K
the confusion is the LOW light, it is for the gas, not oil, your oil is fine.

19Cutlass94
LOL I as talking about (in my case) having to keep adding oil because of leaking gaskets and a shot o-ring. But just for the oil consumption in general
