96mcls
my car is in need of new front struts( it's a 1996 Monte Carlo LS), and i was wanting to get it a little lower, so i was thinking of getting some springs also, and do the rear struts too my question is, which springs do you guys recommend intrax or Eibach i am going to use KYB GR-2's for the front and back. also i was planning on replacing the strut mounts as well, any recommendations, i was just planning to get some from autozone. also i need to replace what i think is the inner tie rod end(i get a vibration at high way speeds) but from what i hear this is a real pain to do, so i was thinking about letting the shop i take it to replace it when i get an alignment. it might take me a while longer to do this project than i had hoped, i calculated the cost and i'm half way there, well i was, then i bought a few new tools i thought would help in the process (ie. new 3 ton jack to replace the POS 2 ton that doesn't even get my car's wheel off the ground , spring compressors...) any thing else i should replace? i was thinking about replacing the ball joints and the other outer tie rods. and i got i few extra goodies to go on as well, rear discs(well i had those but were removed for a while for abs problems, turns out i pinched a wire and replaced the whole set up back to drums for no reason :x ), e-brake cables, and a z34 rear sway bar. slick
Personally, i'd go with the Eibachs. They may not get you as low as the Intrax, but they will handle 10x better.
Cam'ron
havent done a drop suspension yet but if and when i do i am going eibach

slick
I know on other cars besides for W's, it's been proven that the Intrax will go lower than the Eibach's, even after settling, but the Eibach's handle much better than the Intrax. Pabz
Intrax are good enough. Eibachs must be great but I dont see W-body's taking advantage of that greatness. Whats the price difference?

I wouldn't think it would be that amazing of a difference for most of us average drivers that just want a drop and a bit of handling increase.
