TGPilot Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Well I decided to go for a quick drive in the TGP to go pick up a Papa Murphy's pizza. When I made the turn into the parking lot I heard a howl come from the fuel pump. The car never sputtered, but when I came back out of the pizza place to start the car....SHE NO WORKY!!! So what fuel pumps should I be looking at to replace this one guys... 8) Quote
idbeast Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 The fuel pump you need is an ACDelco part # EP375 It is the same one as the vette uses. Quote
TGPilot Posted March 24, 2003 Author Report Posted March 24, 2003 Thanks man... 8) Do you think the stock fuel pump will supply enough fuel if I decide to run 30# injectors and 18PSI of boost? 8) Quote
idbeast Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 It has enough, it can (it does) supply a vette V-8!!! it is what Jeff M recomends, and what I'm using on my red 89 that I'm in the process of putting the ported and polished heads and 29lb injectors into... A jeffm test bed     Quote
skalor Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I would just go aftermarket and get a Walbro. I don't recall how much the AC Delco pump is, but you can get a 255 Walbro for $93. Which I think is a pretty damned good price http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ Quote
RedZMonte Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 255LPH HP for $97US shipped http://www.importevolution.com/store/fuel.php took from Malibu's thread http://www.w-body.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3132 Quote
